  1. Hey Susan šŸ™‚

First off welcome to the community you’ll find us all a helpful friendly bunch.

Secondly – the easiest thing is to simply take your time with regards the reading of blogs, otherwise you could burn out with overwhelm as there are soooooo many blogs out there that are like candies in a sweet shop, you want to sample all at once when the easiest thing is to try a few, taste them, see if you like them or not. once you have finished, then try some different sweeties and go on from there and eventually over a given and gradual period of time, you’ll fine the tribe ot the ‘just right reading combination for your tastes’.

With regards your creative thoughts and ideas, pen them down as often and as convenient to your time as you can, you’ll soon see after about a month what is good for you and your writing schedule. You can’t go wrong when starting your blog out if you take the time to get to know you and your style more. just find a schedule that best fits you – be this posting once a day or twice, once or twice a week, once or twice a month you get the idea.

All l would say is keep your schedule constant so if you are planning to write once a day, once a week, month etc or alternatives of that configuration – then do so and that way your readership and audience will get to know your pattern and your blog will always be fresh in their Reader.

Some tips for you to help you expand your readership – engage, comment, interact wash, rinse and repeat, take part in prompts which can be all sorts of concepts that are created by other bloggers to encourage, inspire and motivate your enthusiasm šŸ™‚

But above everything – have fun.

  2. I definitely second Rory’s recommendation about being a constant blogger. Pick what release schedule works for you and that you can easily keep up and stick with it.

and don’t compare yourself to any other blogger. That’ll kill the fun quicker than arsenic.
